About Me

Biography

Anna Chen is a sophomore from North Potomac, Maryland studying computer science at the University of Maryland. Some of her interests include digital art, digital music production, and video game production. Anna strives to learn how to use these different art forms in combination with virtual reality and augmented reality to create a medium for motivating others and presenting new perspectives. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, she plans to work as a software developer and use what she learns about the arts to inspire others to see things in a new mindset.
As a College Park Arts Scholar, Anna intends to experiment with new art forms. For her Capstone project, she hopes to explore more about music composition and digital music production. Anna looks forward to joining Scholars in Action to work with those not only in Arts Scholars, but those in other College Park Scholar programs well to help serve others and enhance the community. Before graduating, Anna hopes to gain more knowledge on AI and VR development to help her achieve her goals and prepare her to find a job after graduating.
